Manage existing plant-based protein products and develop new products through comprehensive consumer and product knowledge and insight and build strong brand equity by executing effective consumer communication plan.

Key Outputs

Measurements / Performance Indicators

· Category/Product management for plant-based protein categories

o Develop and maintain a 3-year category strategy to support growth and profitability targets. Support the category growth strategy through consumer, market & brand understanding.

o Manage product lifecycle including SKU rationalization and PEM (Product Excellence Management)

o Perform competitor analysis and develop defensive/offensive plans

o Research and track market and competitive trends to remain abreast of category developments.

o Set and manage P&L targets by categories and channels

· Category midterm plan report

· Category annual plan report

· Quarterly SKU rationalization plan and progress report

· Monthly P&L report

· Category performance report

· Sales & market share

· New product development

o Execute NPD process for new product

· 18-month NPD plan

· Monthly NPD meeting report

· Monthly MKTG/Sales meeting


· Develop and execute marketing plan

o Developing strategies to communicate with consumers

o Execute marketing plan in conjunction with agencies

o Develop new product marketing plan and execute

o Develop & implement in-store promotion plan

o Manage website, bloggers and social media contents

o Develop and direct marketing/sales collaterals such as sell sheet, brochure; ensure proper inventory is kept

o Manage archive to ensure all artwork designs and marketing materials remain current

· Annual marketing plan report

· Run at least one effective

marketing campaign per year

· Refresh marketing and sales

collaterals annually

· Manage websites

· Update Product Design Archive


· Budget management

-Develop an annual marketing budget

-Deliver all marketing activities with the agreed budget

· Annual budgeting

· Monthly budget spending report

· Market research

-Conduct market research to identify market

requirement for current and new products

-Determine what consumer research and data is needed

for category & channel – plan, execute and analyze.

· Annual market research plan

· Marketing research reports


· Collect/share market intelligence including competitors


· Sales, Operation, R&D (both Korea and USA) and Purchasing


· Agencies and vendors


  • Passion for food is a must!
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in product innovation, marketing and branding (CPG experience preferred)
  • Food industry experience is a plus
  • Strong MS Office skills, with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to accomplish tasks in a timely manner and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable with flexibility/multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for food is a must requirement


  • Bachelor’s Degree required; preferably in Marketing, Advertising or Business Administration. MBA is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00 to $55,000.00 /year
