**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Certified Athletic Trainer to join our independent orthopaedic practice. As an Athetic Trainer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing personalized rehabilitation programs for patients, focusing on their specific health and wellness goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physiology and anatomy, with a passion for helping others achieve their rehabilitation goals.
**Responsibilities:**
- Conduct initial consultations with patients to assess their needs and goals, including assessing body mechanics.
- Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation programs that cater to patients specific needs, incorporating exercises that improve overall health and well-being.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to patients, monitoring their progress and making adjustments to their rehabilitation programs as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of patients progress, using this data to inform their physician and make adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians team to develop new programs and services..
**Requirements:**
- A degree in a field of Athletic Training.
- Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy, including the principles of exercise science and nutrition.
- Experience working with patients of all fitness levels, with a focus on personalized rehabilitation programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of prior authorization requirements.
- Ordering of all supplies and braces.
- Knowledge of Workers Compensation helpful.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
