What You'll Contribute:
This position is a hands-on OneStream/Hyperion production support role with expert functional knowledge of financial reporting and ECM/CPM applications. The Senior Systems Analyst manages the production support function for all the user groups of the OneStream CPM application. This role ensures maximum system availability throughout the month, but especially at peak times during the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting periods. The Senior Systems Analyst acts as the liaison with the Business Finance Office, Financial Planning & Analysis, Workforce Management and related IT teams for production support and various projects. Critical to this role is the ability to provide excellent customer-service and the ability to effectively collaborate and support all user groups within Sallie Mae. The Senior Systems Analyst will have the capacity to understand end-user requests and how those requests impact financial reporting. This role will drive the change required to implement end-user requests and will propose alternatives that better align and achieve financial reporting goals.

What You'll Do:
OneStream Production Support & Management 60%

Maintain Dimensions and Hierarchies in OneStream and ensure the timely update from all external systems.
Conduct OneStream administrator tasks
Maintain and support the data flows to OneStream from all source systems, and ensure all data is accurately loaded to OneStream on a nightly basis.
Troubleshoot and correct data load issues in OneStream, and recalculate as necessary to ensure accurate reporting in OneStream Reports
Coordinate and collaborate with other Sallie Mae and contractor teams to maintain the system.
Project engagement and Support 30%

Act as the subject matter expert on all system related areas like configuration, set-up, reporting, systems and user testing process and migrations
Assist project teams in following policies and procedures needed for system deployment
Perform QA checks on all system deliverable's
Project Management 10%

Coordinate with teams as needed during new implementations, system upgrades, and process improvements that impact the CPM system
Review project plans and project deliverable's

Required Qualifications:
What You Bring:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Management Information systems

Experience:
3-5 years of experience in a Hyperion or other EPM software
1-2 years of experience OneStream CPM software
2-3 years of experience with Microsoft technology (VB, .Net)
Accounting and Financial Reporting experience
Excellent Proficiency with SQL
Excellent knowledge of software development methodologies
Excellent oral and written communication skills at all levels of the organization
Experience with automated reporting tools and standard desktop applications
Technical skills needed to develop ad hoc reporting from multiple and varied database
Microsoft VB scripting
Prior experience with enterprise-wide system implementations
Ability to travel to other Sallie Mae offices (<5%).
Prior work with web-based platforms
Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Access skills
Interface development and testing
