Monte Nido & Affiliates, a leading eating disorders treatment provider will be opening a new facility located in the residential area of The Woodlands, TX. This will be a Clementine Program for adolescents’ girls age 13-17. We offer a model of treatment that blends the personalized and medically sophisticated care, which we are known, with the latest research and strategies for adolescent girls suffering from eating disorders. This highly specialized medical, psychiatric, nutritional, and clinical approach integrates comprehensive academic and family support within an intimate home setting. We work together to heal the entire family – instilling hope and trust.
We are accepting applications for Full-time, Part-time and Per Diem Primary Therapists to join our multidisciplinary team. Our treatment setting is intimate, with a high staff to client ratio, and an emphasis on individual therapy and highly individualized care.
The Primary Therapist will be an integral part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team while providing individual, group, and family therapy, complete clinical assessments, obtain insurance pre-certifications and continual utilization management, perform discharge and aftercare planning as well as provide therapeutic meal and outing support and coordination of care with other members of the client’s referring treatment team.
The Primary Therapist schedule includes day, evening and weekend shifts.
- Minimum of a Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology or related field
- Active Texas licensure (PsyD, PhD, LPC, LMFT, or LCSW) or have the ability to obtain licensure
- Prior clinical experience treating primary eating disorders in either a residential or hospital eating disorder setting preferred; however we are willing to provide the eating disorder training to a candidate with the potential and excellent background.
- Experience with insurance care coordination and utilization review is preferred.
