As a Continuous Improvement Specialist, you will learn and use UTC’s operating system, ACE. You will support, direct, and coordinate continuous improvement activities on our journey to becoming a world- class Aerostructures MRO. You will build an understanding of lean and its application in an MRO environment.
Tasks and projects may include, but are not limited to:
- Participating in continuous improvement events and lean transformation activities
- Creating visual controls for flow
- Improving point of use for tools and material
- Designing material kit carts
- Developing visual performance measurements
- Working with teams to apply root-cause analysis and mistake proof solutions to improve the business
- Performs other duties as required
US Citizenship is required.
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
Must be a Junior or Senior pursuing an undergraduate engineering degree (Industrial/Mechanical engineering preferred)
GPA 3.0/4.0 required.
