Job Overview
Summary: In coordination with the General Manager, the Assistant Project Engineer’s overall responsibility is working directly with tasks relating to specific division management. Must maintain accurate projects records and act as an intermediary between landscape field operations, company management, subcontractors and customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Review job status, costs, billing cycles and assist in the
tracking process
Prepare change orders and budgets with estimating
Prepare job info and communication for Project Managers
Assist in the preparation of subcontractor’s schedule
Ensure that job information and weekly work reports are properly prepared and
submitted as required
Attend pre-construction and other site meetings with clients, General Manager, and subcontractors as required
Miscellaneous:
Establish effective communications with Project Manager, General Manager, customers & subcontractors
Ability to review contracts and costs to perform a cost analysis for upper management (Experience in Sage software is preferred)
Must be self-motivated with strong organizational skills
Qualifications/Requirements:
3-5 years Landscape Construction Experience or within residential construction management
Microsoft Office-Word, Excel and Outlook (MUST)
Refined communications skills, both oral and written

Pay: $58,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
