SUMMARY
The primary function of a Warehouse Logistics Product Operator III is to ensure the internal and external customer receives the product or service they desire when they expect it. This function is performed in a warehousing and distribution center environment. It typically requires the physical movement of products and/or materials from one location to another. It may also require verbal and/or written communication and cataloging of information.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Consistently strive to exceed internal and external customer expectations
 Operating knowledge of various warehouse tools and equipment (Preferred)
 Make certain the company SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) is followed for all assigned job duties
 Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area at all times
 Acknowledge and verify receipt of freight, and provide necessary information to operations staff for further processing
 Carry out all tasks in a safe and accurate manner within the allotted time frame
 Complete verification process the of cargo with accuracy and complete proper documentation
 Convey to Supervisor on any potential issues
 Assure proper upkeep of all shipment records
 Monitor warehouse equipment and report any deficiencies according to SOP
 Assure accuracy of picking and receiving to ensure the accurate movement of items/pieces/materials
 While performing assigned responsibilities adhere to company safety rules and OSHA guidelines
 Process incoming and outgoing cargo, as noted on document(s) ensuring accuracy
 Perform labeling, stenciling and writing on cartons and documents
 Be precise when selecting, organizing, sorting, segregating cartons, pallets and materials
 Properly process and dispose of remnant shipping material such as cardboard boxes, wraps etc.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE
 High school diploma or equivalent
 Minimum six (3) months experience working in a warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory handling environment (Preferred)
 Knowledge of the warehouse environment, procedures and its regulations (Preferred)
 Knowledge of domestic transportation documentation and basics of inventory control (Preferred)
 Knowledge of WMS (Preferred)
 Fork lift certification (Preferred)

COMMUNICATION SKILLS
 Strong communication and organizational skills with a keen sense for details
 Ability to read, comprehend and interpret standard operating procedures and customer requirements.
 Ability to communicate timely responses to internal and external requests
 Excellent communication and people skills

LANGUAGE SKILLS
English- Ability to read, comprehend and follow safety policies and procedures

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
 Ability to perform basic mathematical equations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
 Ability to successfully perform inventory audits

REASONING ABILITY
 The ability to input data into a relational database is required
 Ability to read, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms or other related documents typically found in a warehouse environment.
 Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
 Work within a demanding environment, which includes noise from alarms, machinery, and people
 Stand, stoop, kneel, sit, crawl and walk for extended periods of time
 Lift and carry cartons, materials and wooden pallets at a minimum of 25 pounds.
 Push and pull loaded carts, pallet jacks and strollers
 Use arms, hands, fingers and body to transport cartons, materials and wooden pallets
 Use of senses to include hearing, talking, touching, feeling and vision. Specific vision abilities required include seeing clearly in both near and reasonable distances.

TECHNICAL SKILLS
 Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
 Proficiency in operating a warehouse hand held devices (Preferred)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is:
 Frequently required to stand, walk and constantly travel
 Regularly required to sit, use hands, handle, feel, see and talk or hear
 Occasionally required to reach with hand and arms

WORK ENVIRONMENT
 Working inside and outside of a warehousing and distribution facility
 Working inside and outside of trailers and containers
 Working around moving objects and vehicles
 Working around electrical or battery driven packaging machines and conveyors with moving parts
 Exposure to dampness, humidity and ambient temperatures
 Use various manual material handling devices to include forklifts, dollies, and pallet jacks
 Slippery, wet or uneven surfaces.
 Working in dark trailers, aisles or walkways until proper lighting is employed
