PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

As a Payroll Analyst, you will ensure accurate processing and recording of company’s payroll, provide timely and accurate financial information, and participate in daily data entry associated with the processing of payroll. In this role, you will investigate payroll information, prepare garnishment reports, complete employment verifications, post journal entries, complete quarterly audits, and perform database maintenance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

Research, analyze, and retrieve data to prepare and maintain complex payroll records, summaries, and reports.
Reconcile differences within the established payroll, benefit, retirement, and accounting systems using critical analysis skills.
Review timesheets for days/hours worked and calculate and record salary adjustments as necessary.
Research and analyze discrepancies and process appropriate corrections.
Ensure the accuracy of payroll and benefit codes.
Calculate and apply garnishment deduction orders.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
3-5 years of Payroll experience
Strong analytical and accounting skills
