The System Integration Team integrating Increment II of the US Army's Integrated Personnel and Pay System (IPPS-A) is looking for a highly experienced GoldenGate Administrator. You will join the Infrastructure team to support the GoldenGate Administration needs of multiple teams including development, test, data, reporting, sustainment and operations. You will be charged with GoldenGate administration and support activities include but are not limited to planning, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and on-going maintenance of multiple GoldenGate Oracle RAC installations.

GoldenGate administration activities include but are not limited to planning, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and on-going maintenance of multiple GoldenGate Oracle RAC installations.
Develop and document technical and conceptual specifications in support of the overall usage of GoldenGate
Support the ongoing design, development, and operations of all IPPS-A environments and associated GoldenGate utilizations
Setup, integration and maintenance of multiple GoldenGate installations with various components of the IPPS-A system, (i.e. Kafka, OBIEE)
Support development, testing and CM teams for Functional/Security and Performance Testing, code packaging and code migration to various Test and Production environments
Work closely with DBAs. application administrators, development teams, and test teams to define requirements, develop creative solutions to complex problems, ensure data quality, and improve/streamline performance
Provide rotational on-call, 24/7 support for production environment, providing SME-level support as needed
Work closely with developers, SMEs, and Testers using Agile sessions
Work to identify, prioritize, and execute tasks to meet program goals and deliverable objectives
You’ll Bring these Qualifications:
BA/BS degree and 7 years of related experience
Current Security+ Accreditation
3+ years hands-on experience using and supporting GoldenGate 12c and higher
Solid understanding of Oracle databases, Exadata, and Solaris
Experience with High-Availability and Disaster Recovery architecture and configuration
3+ years hands-on experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting GoldenGate on Oracle RAC in a Unix environment
3+ years hands-on experience configuring GoldenGate to support ongoing replication of large Oracle databases, preferably within a complex architecture
3+ years hands-on experience configuring GoldenGate downstream mining and integrated components for active-active replication
4+ years hands-on Oracle DBA experience in Solaris/Linux
2+ years’ experience with Unix shell scripting, SQL Scripting and PL/SQL
Experience supporting reporting and other business processes using high-volume data sources across SDLC environments (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod)
Current Secret Clearance required; SSBI preferred
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Current SSBI background investigation
Demonstrated experience Installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting GoldenGate on Oracle RAC in a Unix environment
Experience configuring GoldenGate to support ongoing replication of large Oracle databases (thousands of tables each) within a complex architecture
Experience configuring GoldenGate downstream mining and integrated components for active-active replication
Experience configuring GoldenGate adapters and connectors (e.g., JMS, Kafka)
Experience configuring GoldenGate High Availability using Oracle DBFS and Active DataGuard
Experience configuring GoldenGate Studio or integrating with Oracle Enterprise Manager
Experience in detecting and resolving errors in GoldenGate active-active replication environments
Experience performing GoldenGate upgrades, replication, error resolution, and restarts without data loss
Experience with GoldenGate Big Data or GoldenGate JMS
Experience with DoD and/or GSA database security requirements is a major plus
Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 12c and Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN)
Ability to manage time, meet deadlines and coordinate multiple, dynamic, and competing priorities
