As a member of the Product Development group you will work side-by-side with testers, data architects, UI designers, product owners and other developers to deliver robust, highly-usable, software solutions with the scalability to serve our rapidly growing private-portal business.
In this role you will:
Provide technical leadership of offshore development team and lead this team’s story estimating and iteration planning.
Delegate technical user story writing and code review from offshore team to onsite team members.
Drive escalations to resolve blocked issues, collaborating and delegating to onsite team members when needed to ensure results.
Participate in architectural design of highly interactive web applications that leverage big data for health and wellness product personalization.
Drive software design decisions and proactively help to ensure that team members apply accepted design principles and patterns.
Coach and mentor offshore and onsite team members to ensure required standards and exceptional code quality that is highly maintainable.
Develop software for responsive design web applications as a member of an onsite Agile team.
Ensure that software development results in highly usable and engaging products, meeting the expectations of our Agile themes, epics, and user stories.
Write technical enabler stories for assigned epics and document designs and key decisions.
Participate in user story grooming, definition of acceptance criteria, estimating, iteration planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Implement test fixtures, acceptance tests and unit tests to drive development.
Drive technical design decisions and perform code reviews towards team’s milestones and epics.

BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of web application development experience in .NET.
1+ year working with offshore development teams / leadership role preferred.
Strong experience developing large-scale web-based systems.
Strong experience working on a Scrum or Agile team.
Strong and proven leadership skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication.
Proficient in data structures, algorithms and object-oriented design.
Strong familiarity with industry-standard software design patterns.
Experience with Angular, React, or other HTML frameworks.
Experience with microservices architecture.
Experience with Continuous Integration (e.g. Jenkins and Gitflow).
Experience with Agile tools such as Atlasisan Jira.
Knowledge of web site accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.0.
Experience with building solutions based upon SaaS using RESTful APIs.
Independent time management skills.
