As we grow, we are seeking an experienced Architect Project Manager to help expand our Oakbrook Terrace, IL office.
Candidates must be a licensed architect and have experience as a Project Architect on renovation and ground up new construction building designs for Retail, Commercial, Industrial, and Multi-Family Housing projects.
Candidates will be utilizing AutoCAD and Revit to not only produce quality construction documents him/herself, but also direct other production staff in the preparation
Candidates will successfully facilitate interdisciplinary coordination, integrating sustainable design criteria where applicable and executing construction administration
Candidates will possess project planning design and interior tenant construction experience, and direct client contact.
In addition to Retail experience, project work in related markets such as Mixed Use/Multi-Family and/or Commercial Office facilities would also be beneficial
Candidates will ideally have experience building, guiding and managing a team or studio of other architects/production staff
Other duties as assigned
Candidates must be proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and 8-10 years of related work experience
Experience in both design-bid-build and design-build projects
Excellent communication and technical skills as well as a strong team player approach are required
Strong organizational skills along with written/verbal communication skills and the ability to work easily with clients, team members, consultants and other Woolpert Design staff are essential
