Supervises, directs, and evaluates assigned staff, processing employee concerns and problems, directing work, counseling, disciplining, and completing employee performance appraisals; interviews and hires new employees; conducts training activities.
Coordinates daily work activities; organizes, prioritizes, and assigns work; monitors status of work in progress and inspects completed work; confers with assigned staff, assists with complex/problem situations, and provides technical expertise.
Supervises administrative operations of the Court; coordinates activities, and monitors status of workflow to ensure quality; troubleshoots problem situations; ensure timely completion of work; coordinates communications and conveys information among assigned personnel; coordinates, conducts, or attends staff meetings to review department plans, progress, budgets, and other activities; conducts special projects as needed.
Performs administrative tasks; interprets court orders; coordinates availability of interpreters, and reviews/approves related billing; provides current information for publication on web site; creates forms/documents utilized within the department; reviews/approves time sheets and leave requests; monitors available leave time; reviews/approves mileage/travel expense reimbursement forms.
Responds to complaints and questions related to department operations and activities; provides information, researches problems, and initiates problem resolution.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Public or Business Administration, Criminal Justice or related field, supplemented by four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in court operations, supervisory experience, judicial or regulatory requirements that affect court operations, legal terminology, accounting practices and procedures, legislative processes, budgeting, auditing and financial management methods; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for this job.
Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver's license.
May require possession and maintenance of valid State of Georgia Notary Public certification.
May require ability to be bonded.
