JOB SUMMARY

  • This is a full-time staff position that principally involves the provision of evaluation and clinical services to inpatient and outpatients.
  • The neuropsychologist will work as part of a multidisciplinary team addressing ongoing rehabilitation needs, and will provide neuropsychological assessments, cognitive rehabilitation, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
  • Clinical populations served include those who have had stroke or brain injury, as well as individuals with various other neurological disorders (e.g. neurodegenerative diseases, anoxic brain injury, movement disorders, cancer).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OR EQUIVALENTS

  • Qualifications include a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.)
  • Completion of an APA/CPA-accredited internship
  • A two year Neuropsychological Fellowship
  • Must be licensed or licensed eligible to practice (Health Service Provider) in Tennessee
  • Must be board-certified or board eligible in Clinical Neuropsychology, and will be expected to obtain board certification (ABPP) within 2 years of hire.
