Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Summary:
First level position for Billing Rep. Performs all functions necessary to obtain timely reimbursement or
resolve claim issues. Works towards obtaining an achieves level of productivity and quality audits.
Presents themselves as a team player within the department by demonstrating and following Baptist
Health beliefs, mission and values.
Other information:
- HS Diploma and/or GED Equivalent
- Billing and collections for a medical practice or physician including ICD-10 and CPT coding
Ability to read and understand billing policies, obtain information from variety of resources, use a
computer and various software and navigate websites to accomplish set goals. Work with a positive
attitude with patients, families, coworkers, leadership, payors and other internal and external
customers.
This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
