Craft Brew Alliance has an immediate opening for a Local Marketing Manager, based in Boston, MA. The Local Marketing Manager is responsible for creating integrated marketing programs that bring the Cisco Brewers brand to life, with primary focus on the Boston metro market. Reporting to the Brand Manager, the Local Marketing Manager develops and executes local marketing plans, executes experiential marketing initiatives and manages relationships with key stakeholders, including local partners, select agencies, influencers and community organizations.

Specific job duties:
Support the CBA Mission, Vision and Values.
Develop and execute local marketing plans and programs in collaboration with retail activation and sales teams.
Plan and execute all local event and experiential marketing initiatives.
Manage local sponsorships and partnerships including relationship management and activation. Identify and build meaningful relationships with relevant new partners and influencers in the local community.
Leverage experiential initiatives and sponsorships/partnerships at retail, with local media and via public relations (where relevant) to maximize impact and value.
Manage marketing efforts to promote small batch beers. Collaborate with communications, brewing and pub teams to build awareness for small batch beers internally and externally.
Coordinate the development of marketing/sales tools and point of sale collateral to support local retail programs and consumer promotions.
Manage scheduling and staffing of local in-store and/or event sampling.
Support online marketing efforts of the pub and brewery, including content ideation, generation and execution of online initiatives.
Manage on-site inventory of event equipment, supplies and promotional items.
Provide input for annual brand planning process trimester programming plans, and present annual and trimester brand plans to local sales and wholesaler teams.
Manage local marketing and activation budget.

Position requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Business Administration or other related field.
Minimum of 3 years brand, field marketing, or experiential marketing experience.
Passion for craft beer. Strong knowledge of the local beer and brewing community in the Northeast.
Strong leadership experience with ability to lead and influence projects and teams.
Project management proficiency with experience managing several simultaneous projects while meeting all deadlines.
Strong communications, presentation and public speaking skills.
Experience building and maintaining partnerships.
Experience with partner/vendor contract development and event permitting.
Strong team player orientation with the ability to collaborate effectively cross-functionally.
Flexibility and adaptability. Ability to plan and manage schedules based on priorities.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Social media experience, preferably with responsibilities for content development.
Ability to travel and work nights/weekends.
