Shift: Weekend (12hrs) or Per Diem
The Expressive Arts Therapist is also responsible to provide a variety of group therapies consistent with the clinical needs of the population and the philosophy and objectives of The Horsham Clinic.
Job Summary: The Expressive Therapist is an active member of the treatment team responsible for providing trauma informed group therapy and psycho-education routed in the dialectical behavior therapy model. They will lead a variety of skills training groups, process and/or expressive Therapy groups designed to meet the individualized needs of the population served. They is responsible to provide a variety of opportunities for patients to learn and demonstrate healthy adaptive skills
Job Requirements
- Exposure to psychiatric patients ( adults, adolescence, and duel diagnosed) General hospital environment.
- Experience in Group Therapy required**
- Masters Degree and Board Certification in Creative Arts Therapies.
- Bachelor Degree and Board Certification in Creative Arts Therapies.
- CTRS, MT-BC,RDT,R-DMT,LPC Preferred
- Demonstrates working knowledge of behavioral mental health, nursing clinical practices, and management
- Knowledge of principles and practices relevant to nursing and patient care activities
- Highly Developed written and verbal communication skills
- 1 or more years of progressive experience in behavioral health setting preferred
- Ability to plan, direct, and monitor others activities with demonstrated leadership abilities that contribute to a positive work environment.
