A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!
Communicate frequently with internal and external partners, environmental project managers, environmental specialists, and consultants
Apply advanced in-depth knowledge to recommend course of action for complex and various issues to ensure environmental compliance and document such refinements
Engage in various internal meetings with SCE work groups and external meetings with regulatory agencies to achieve project results
Perform site assessments to evaluate environmental compliance risk and improve performance
Evaluate environmental policies and regulations as it pertains to utility practices and environmental resource protection requirements
Bachelor’s degree in applicable environmental profession, business, or technical discipline
Five (5) or more years of experience in an environmental profession, business, customer service, or technical discipline
Effectively handle several problems or tasks at once
Use multiple channels or means to communicate important messages (e.g., memos, newsletters, presentations, meetings, electronic mail)
Quickly and effectively solve stakeholder problems
Seek opportunities to work on teams to develop collaboration, experience, and knowledge

The primary work location for this position is in the city of Rosemead.
Position will require up to 25% traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory.
Relocation does not apply to this position.
