The AECOM Building & Places group is looking for an Architecture Intern. This candidate will work on a variety of projects ranging in size and complexity. Primary responsibility will be supporting design staff, Project Managers and Project architects. Primary studios you may work with are Commercial, Education and Transportation, although this could change based on project opportunities.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
+ Assist in preparation of designs, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings
+ Use computer software as a tool for solving basic architectural problems
+ Maintain conformance with building standards, established architectural practices, and applicable building codes
+ Work under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member
AA/AS (US) + None or Diploma/Certification (Canada) + None
+ Currently in pursuit of Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or other related field
+ Experience in architecture including project documentation.
+ Some knowledge of project design and construction documentation and materials.
+ Ability to work on multiple, fast-paced projects and documents.
+ Candidate should possess excellent communication skills.
+ Proficient in Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, Lumion, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
+ Experience in Rhino, Grasshopper and 3D printing technology.
