The focus of your role within Capgemini, what you do:
We are looking for a PMO Lead over the team. This is a client facing role, so previous experience in a outsourced environment leading a PMO organization for a large client.
Provide management of strategic programs, including Request for Solution, onboarding new vendors, service design, quality assurance, refresh HW/SW, project management of complex and multi-vendor projects.
Influence senior client personnel and organizations including senior executive management when issues are unique, complex and difficult.
End-to-End program management of customer requested projects for server builds and enhancements.
End-to-End program management of strategic server compute and storage migration from legacy data centers to strategic data centers.
Ensuring the technical standards and strategic roadmaps are defined and active projects support the defined technical standards.
End-to-End program management to onboard new service providers and offer new services into the program.
For each of the areas of scope the PMO lead is to ensure the full program lifecycle is in place and being managed across all service providers in the program. This includes ensuring a 3-yr plan is in place, solutions are designed according to the documented standards and are on-time, project build execution is on-time, level of effort and costs are on-budget, customer satisfaction is measured and action plans developed as needed, customer billing data is accurate, internal and external management information is maintained and accurate, and communication plans are in place and being executed.
The candidate will frequently prepare and deliver executive-level communications to internal management as well as to customer executives.
The PMO Lead will directly manage a team of 4 to 6 senior Project Management professionals within the Capgemini program office function, developing their skills and capabilities. This program office function of 25 to 30 people performs a program management role over 5 data center towers across three service providers. These service providers provide 100+ staff to perform the project management, technical design and solutioning, technical build and implementation staffing and work execution.
Success factors include achieving SLAs, submitting deliverables, delivering per SOW, implementing Continual Service Improvements, exceeding customer satisfaction expectations, generating new revenue.
What you bring:
Local to Atlanta or willing to relocate to Atlanta, GA. Relocation assistance is not provided.
A minimum of 15 years project and program management experience
10 years experience managing large program management operations in an outsourcing environment
Experience with large multi-vendor infrastructure consolidation and improvement projects
Experience includes leading data center consolidation programs and major IT systems implementations as well as defining IT strategies and solutions
Experience in client-facing roles directly interfacing with multiple clients or business units
SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Demonstrates ability to interact and communicate with C-level executives
Demonstrated ability to interact with and manage functional experts including internal service delivery teams, client project teams, external service provider project teams, 3rd party subcontractors
Demonstrates proficiency with project risk management identification, planning and remediation, and issue identification and management
Demonstrates proficiency managing projects with broad and complex stakeholder requirements.
Demonstrates proficiency to drive the execution, monitoring and control of project plans to successful on-time, on-budget, high-quality completion
Knowledge and understanding of IT Infrastructure Library services offerings (ITIL® V3)
Knowledge of the CA Clarity EPM toolset or equivalent tool
Bachelor’s degree in Computer related field
PMP® certification preferred
ITIL certification preferred
