Canna Brand Solutions is looking for a qualified and results-oriented Accounting and Finance Professional (preferably with experience in wholesale distribution) to manage, maintain, and help improve our financial system. The primary responsibilities are to steward, guard, and allocate our finances. The key responsibilities of this position is to maintain the accurate posting of all transactions into Quick Books, pay vendors on-time without errors, execute payroll, assist in collecting cash, and other bookkeeping related tasks. Secondary responsibility is to help develop financial systems, processes and controls, as well as process documentation for training purposes. Some of the duties include (but not limited to):


  • Ensure record keeping meets Accountants requirements.
  • Generate various Financial reports for the executive team.
  • Oversee the companies POS and transaction processing systems.
  • Execute weekly payroll.
  • Track and reconcile bank statements.
  • Maintain balanced petty cash fund.
  • Analyze trends and provide recommendations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure collection of all receipts.
  • Establish, maintain and revise record keeping and filing systems.

Key Results (Performance Metrics)

  • Timely and accurate financial statements.
  • Timely and accurate invoicing, bill payments, tax filing, and payroll.
  • Process improvements consistent with company strategy.


  • 2+ years of accounting experience in wholesale/ distribution industry preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Accounting software experience with QuickBooks.
  • AA degree in Accounting or Business Administration, experience may substitute.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00 to $55,000.00 /year
