The growing Philadelphia office of Saltz Mongeluzzi Bendesky has an exciting opportunity for a Plaintiff’s Firm Mass Tort and/or Asbestos Associate Attorney.
Responsibilities:
· Document Review;
· Drafting Complaints;
· Drafting Responsive Pleadings;
· Filing Complaints & Responsive Pleadings;
· Reinstating Complaints;
· Filing Motions;
· Assisting Senior Attorney with Experts;
· Attend and Take Depositions;
· Drafting Case Management Memos;
· Attending Case Management Conferences;
· Client Contact;
· Attending Case Management Conferences;
Experience:
· Minimum of five-six years Plaintiff or Defense firm mass tort litigation and Asbestos experience.
· A high level of complex litigation experience.
· Experience working with mass tort and/or asbestos files.
· Must be proficient in both research and writing. (Please provide writing sample)
· Pennsylvania Bar Required; New Jersey Bar preferred not required.
Job Requirements:
· Excellent organizational, time management, research skills.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Ability to use Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word).
· Must be a self-starter.
· The ability to work independently.
· Must be a team player.
· Case management software experience with FileVine is also a plus.
