Qualifications and Skills
You must have a valid drivers license and be 26 years of age or older.
Responsibilities and Duties
As a ASSE Area Representative, you'll be that all-important point person for students placed in your area during their year abroad.
In addition, you'll help teenagers in your own community become ASSE exchange students abroad. Opening up the world of international experiential learning to students in your area is an important role of being a ASSE Area Representative.

As a trained Area Representative, you'll receive on-going support from your ASSE Area Coordinator and Regional Director as you take on a variety of challenging roles! The Area Representative is a part-time, stipend-paid position and many of our representatives work other full time jobs. ASSE's mission is to foster international understanding through educational and cross-cultural programs. ASSE is a US Department of State designated Exchange Visitor Program (J-1 Visa) sponsor.
Compensation: $700-1050 per student you place, additional bonuses and incentives available.
