Relations Strategy - Support and execute the Infosys Government Affairs strategy globally, including providing input on the development of advocacy strategies and their development, implementation, and coordination of internal teams and external stakeholders, including the regular sharing of information and intelligence.Legislative & Regulatory - Source and prepare detailed analysis reports, policy briefings, presentations and position papers for Senior Leadership on policy issues for review by Government Affairs management. Stay abreast of relevant policy and legislative initiatives.
Research and submit input into Infosys’ positions on proposed legislation and consultation processes. Research and source information for designated projects.Marketing & Media Relations - Work with Government Affairs leadership to help design and implement campaigns to promote company's mission to government officials and the interested public. Support the Infosys marketing and PR teams on campaigns and crisis communications.Networking & Relationship Building - Assist with relationship management with national and regional policymakers on key issues including, but not limited to, securities policy, immigration, tax, job creation and STEM education. Undertake research into potential stakeholders and decision makers that could align with the Infosys Global Government Affairs strategy.Update and maintain Global Government Affairs contact book.Operational Budget Management - Support the Vice president, Government Affairs to develop/maintain the Government Affairs group budget.Policy & Operations - Support the policy agenda relating to principal issues of concern to the organization.
Program Management - Manage and support Government Affairs programs by working with the global team to establish goals, objectives, determine relevant events, policies and operating procedures for the government relations support function. Risk Mitigation - Proactively research policies/bills (Legislation/regulations) to determine potential changes that could be advantageous and which trends might impact the organization. Analysis of policy issues, collaborate with legal and strategy functions and the relevant business units. Provide recommendations to Government Affairs management.Reporting & Communication – Research and prepare draft memoranda, briefings, and reports that present company objectives in a clear and persuasive manner to both internal and external company audiences, including policymakers, customers, and Company leadership.
Assists with strategic recommendations to senior leadership regarding government initiatives and related business impacts and opportunities. Prepare high level briefing notes for senior leadership in advance of meetings with government stakeholders.Thought Leadership - Represent or support the company management in trade and industry organizations. Support and managing outreach with relevant trade associations and think tanks. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
Will also consider three years of progressive experience in lieu of every year of education.At least 5 years of relevant work experience Preferred Qualifications: Strong communication and inter-personal skills.Experience overseeing and closing multiple projects and transactions.Good problem solving skills.Ability to organize, prioritize and manage deadlines in a fast-based and demanding work environment.Ability to work independently and as part of a team with rapidly changing deadlines and priorities.Commitment to ethics and integrity.Professionalism and attention to detailAbility to maintain strong working relationships with demanding internal clients.Ability to identify and manage legal and business risk.
