Under the general direction of the Administrative, Clinical Directors and Operations Manager, the secretary will support the Comprehensive Heart Failure faculty and staff through coordination of secretarial and clerical duties, promoting efficient and effective service.
2-3 years of experience as a secretary; healthcare setting preferred.
High school graduate, equivalent.business certificate or Associate's degree (preferred).
BLS certification for the American Heart Association.
Word-processing and computer skills.
Good organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Knowledge of ECW, SCM, Optimum/Vision, NaviNet, precertifications/pre-authorizations preferred.
