Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates workplace health promotion initiatives for contracted worksite employees. Assists in administration of Personal Wellness Profiles. Analyzes data, both group and individual, and implements plans of action to promote, maintain or improve health risks for working population. Coaches and motivates employees. Evaluates intervention for health outcomes and needed improvements. Tracks health events, education activities and participation. Assist with administrative duties and billing processes. Researches current health prevention and wellness topics. Acts as resource to other staff and client companies on a variety of health related topics.
Must have a Bachelor's degree in the area of Health Education, Exercise Physiology, Nursing, Dietary or a related field.
Must have a valid driver's license. Current CPR (AHA) certification required. Must earn a coaching certification suggested by department within 1 year of hire date.
One to three years experience in Health Promotion, Wellness or Health Education preferred. Education in program development, event planning and relationship building with business group preferred.
Must have good presentation, verbal, and written communication skills. Must be able to lift 50 pounds; 100 pounds shared lifting
