Nicol Scales & Measurement is a growing company that is looking for a Calibration Service Sales Rep to grow our Metrology & Scale Calibration Services in the North Texas area. We are looking for a quality-minded individual to perform the following job.
Scope of Position:
Introduce/Sell our metrology and industrial scale calibration services by providing all-inclusive programs to ensure that customers measurement equipment is functioning within quality standards. (Calibration Services)
What you need to do to be successful:
- Daily development of sales opportunities including prospecting and quickly following-up on provided leads.
- Ability to identify, develop, and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within all customer organizations (Purchasing, Engineering, Maintenance, Laboratory, and Quality).
- Utilize CRM to produce effective quotes and manage sales pipeline.
- Using technical skills to understand our customer’s needs and provide solutions that improve their processes.
- In conjunction with the sales of our Calibration Services, serve as a brand ambassador for the full suite of other products and services offered.
- Be a self-starter with a good work ethic and desire to achieve goals.

Minimum Requirements:
- Highly motivated and target driven
- Strong prospecting, networking, and appointment-setting skills
- Punctual, meticulous, and reliable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new software programs
- Ability to adapt to and understand customer’s specific needs
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
- BA/BS degree or equivalent of 2-3 years of industrial Business to Business sales experience
Qualifications that will make you stand out:
- Business, Industrial Distribution, or Science Degree
- Ability to price calibrations from a customer’s equipment list
- Experience selling measurement equipment or Metrology Calibration Services
- Documented success with selling in an industrial environment requiring some technical aptitude
- Proven success with growing a sales territory
