We are currently searching for an Associate Clinical Specialist for our growing Vascular division.
In this role, the Associate Clinical Specialist serve as the product experts who provide comprehensive education and support to provider organizations. The successful candidate is responsible for delivering onsite clinical training and ongoing case support, including trouble-shooting and problem-solving, to staff within client facilities.
Seeking a candidate with current Registered Nurse (RN) certification or a relevant technical certification, a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in the cath lab / operating room environment, and a strong preference for expertise in IVUS and OCT imaging. This position requires travel up to 80% in the assigned region.

Responsibilities:
- Serves as the technical procedure and product expert of entire vascular portfolio in the hospital or OBL setting.
- Deliver new product in-service training to physicians, nurses, and techs.
- Working under general direction, provide advanced educational and technical support in response to complex field inquiries from physicians, health care professionals, and field sales team involving cardiovascular imaging.
- Performs work that involves a high degree of independence and motivation.
- Identifies and routinely uses the most effective, cost efficient and best business practices to execute processes; continually evaluates their effectiveness and appropriateness.
- Demonstrates ability to build and sustain credible business relationships with customers and shares product expertise accordingly.
- Provide national case coverage in the Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology Lab to ensure customer and patient success.
- Attend regional/national trade shows and conventions.
- Plan and effectively implement multiple experience level education sessions as necessary for nurses and Cath Lab techs. Identification of super users in the Cath Lab.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with direct team and cross-functionally.
- Respond to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel.
- Maintain technical and clinical proficiency on all Nipro products.
- Partner with Nipro Account Executives to provide educational programs and training to clients.
- Assist with various projects as assigned by the direct manager.
- Stay up to date on federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Complete all administrative duties as assigned by direct manager, such as accurate and timely expense reports and end of week reports.
- Perform related duties as assigned by the manager.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor of Science Degree is preferred, in lieu of degree, extensive, relevant technical, clinical, or related industry experience desired.
- Must be a Current Registered Nurse (RN) or have a relevant technical certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in the cath lab/operating room environment.
- Experienced in IVUS and OCT imaging is strongly preferred.
