Position Overview
The Quality Inspector 2 position inspects manufactured and purchased goods for accuracy and conformance to manufacturing specifications.
Essential Job Functions
- Inspects material or product for accuracy, dimensional tolerance, and cosmetic defects. Majority of time will be spent inspecting mirror for scratches, pinholes, seeds, and dimensional accuracy.
- Verify and audit manufacturing SWI’s.
- Inspect and verify electrical harness.
- Complete first article inspections.
- Identify non-conforming material and disposition accordingly.
- Enter defect data into NCMR database.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Competencies
- Proficient using various measurement equipment.
- Attention to detail
- Proficient in MS office.
- MRP/ERP knowledge. Epicor preferred.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics
Required Education and Experience
- Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with minimum 1 year of experience.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks.
- Works under general supervision. Will report to a supervisor.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $22.00 an hour

Physical Demands
- Ability to lift, pull or push up to 40 lbs.; anything over 40 lbs. is to be assisted.
- Be on your feet 10 hours per day.
- Ability to visually inspect defects at close proximity.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
- Full Time (4 tens), potential OT on Friday
- Paid hourly
- 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
