Position Description:

CMG is looking for an experienced Contracts Specialist with expertise in administering all types of Government and commercial contracts. The Contracts Specialist plays a critical role in CMG’s ability to achieve its’ goals by helping to build and maintain strong relationships with our customers and consortia members. In addition, we are seeking an individual with the ability to collaborate effectively across a variety of business-support functions, including program management, corporate finance and legal.

The Contracts Specialist is responsible for supporting the planning and administration of Government contracts, from solicitation to close-out, with a particular focus on providing analysis and compliance reviews of member White Papers and proposals. The Contracts Specialist also is responsible for post-award administration, including facilitating contract modifications, invoicing, and maintaining an integrated database for deliverables tracking and project-status reporting to all stakeholders.


Bachelor’s degree required. (Associates degree combined with work experience will be considered)

Experience administering Government and/or commercial contracts in the technology development space

Expertise in DoD Operations Security (OPSEC) and data-rights requirements

Team player with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Strong and effective communication skills

Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
