Description of position:
West Physics has an immediate need for a National Sales Associate with sales education, and experience in healthcare sales. This is a full-time position based at our Atlanta headquarters and will be primarily responsible for sales efforts throughout the United States. The position involves technical sales to acute care radiology administrators, procurement personnel, as well as non-acute healthcare facility practice managers. The Sales Associate will prepare for and attend trade shows, conferences, and technical exhibits to cultivate leads and represent the company brand; travel to customer site meetings throughout the United States; field potential customer inquiries and quote requests that we receive by phone and through our web site; promote and explain our services to potential customers; and prepare service proposals. The Sales Associate will also participate in various marketing planning discussions, provide feedback to senior management on sales efforts and potential customer feedback, and assist management with the preparation of sales presentations and other sales-related resources. This position involves approximately 25% travel and compensation consists of a base salary, incentive bonus structure, full health, dental, and vision insurance coverage, 401(k) and paid vacation/sick leave.
Promote and educate about services to potential customers
Accept potential customer requests for services received by phone, email, and website and qualify leads
Prepare service quotations based on customized needs of new and existing customers, and follow through to contract execution
Successfully upload customer information into the company CRM and manage ongoing customer communication and new sales leads
Coordinate sales efforts internally with other company team members and departments
Create positive and lasting relationships with customers and other industry healthcare suppliers
Represent the company at healthcare trade shows, conferences, and technical exhibits
Identify and prioritize industry tradeshows with the highest ROI; plan, execute and follow up on leads obtained from trade shows
Prepare marketing collateral materials, sales presentations, and other sales-related resources for events
Provide feedback regarding marketing strategies to senior leadership
Other duties assigned as needed
Bachelor’s or Associate's degree or other non-degree college education permissible in candidates with more extensive professional sales-based experience
Proficient in utilizing CRM software
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong business relationships. Proven ability to network and build strong relationships with customers
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Travel 25% of time
Bachelor’s degree in sales & marketing or radiologic technology sciences
Established understanding of social media platforms and strategy to use to increase new business
Strategic thinking with ability to manage detail
Highly motivated with a strong work ethic: able to operate independently and with minimal supervision
