Job Summary
The purpose of this position is to assist with the construction, erection, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures of cooling towers, by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities
- Assists with marking cutting and assembly lines on materials
- Assists with the erection of framework
- Fits and installs material as needed
- Assists with the erection of scaffolding and the assembly of ladders
- Maintain a clean worksite by making sure worksite is free of debris and trash
- Provide crew with needed materials to perform the job
- Roll-out tools at the beginning of the workday and put away tools at the end of the workday
- Run extension cords as needed
- Bolt and nail structure as directed
- Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery to conform to grade specifications.
- Additional tasks as assigned by Foreman and/or Superintendent
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-12 months experience
