Fuel distribution company needs a reliable, dependable Logistics Specialist Coordinator to join our team of professionals. The successful applicant will take over supply chain management duties for the firm and become instrumental in the forward growth of the company. He or she will report directly to the controller and will coordinate with many other departments to ensure an efficient daily workflow. Handle all incoming calls and deal directly with common carriers and clients.

Understand market conditions pricing and rates

Data entry of orders into our management and accounting systems.

Maintain an accurate dispatch board in our management system.

Monitor all shipments to insure all delivery deadlines are met.

Monitor and maintain accurate onsite reports for each account.

Help support our customers with their requests.

Perform other duties as assigned by manager.


Minimum education: AA/ work experience equivalent

2+ years in logistics management and transportation support (Dispatch) experience required

Working knowledge of PC computer systems and logistics software preferred

Excellent communication and time management skills

Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.

Ability to work with all levels of management.

Strong organizational, decision making, and problem-solving skills.

Able to manage priorities, workflow, and a high level of responsibility.
