Job Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), less than one (1) year of cleaning and maintenance experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Incumbent should be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form, possess high-quality verbal and written communication ability and strong customer service skills. Must have general knowledge of health rules and regulations. Be able to lift 50 pounds or 75 pounds with assistance.
Job Summary: This position is primarily responsible for running the dish room and maintaining sanitation standards in the dish room area. Additional duties include receiving and stocking of supplies.
Assists the Sous Chef in the operation of the kitchen utility area on a daily basis and ensures all assignments have been completed in a timely manner.
Inventory and Stock:
Assists Chef in taking a weekly and monthly inventory of all food service supplies.
Assumes role of dishwasher in their absence by processing all incoming dirty dishes and loading into the dishwasher for proper cleaning and sanitation.
Performance and Professionalism:
Maintains professional presence when representing Ingleside at Rock Creek; exhibits degree of professionalism consistent with standards in performance, behavior, and appearance.
Demonstrates professional development/skills competency in all activities.
Safety & Security:
Complies with Ingleside at Rock Creek's established safety rules and practices.
