As we continue to expand and evolve, we are seeking a dynamic and visionary Marketing Director to lead our marketing efforts. This position is hybrid, with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. Some travel required.
Position Overview: As the Marketing Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand identity, increasing market share, and driving revenue growth for various concepts. This is a hands-on position that requires a strategic thinker, a creative marketer, and a results-driven leader who is passionate about the restaurant industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives, considering market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive analysis.
- Brand Management: Oversee the development and maintenance of a strong and consistent brand identity across all channels, ensuring brand integrity and recognition.
- Marketing Campaigns: Lead the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that drive foot traffic, events, and reservations.
- Digital Marketing: Manage the digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and website optimization to increase online visibility and engagement.
- Customer Engagement: Foster customer loyalty through the development of loyalty programs, customer feedback mechanisms, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Public Relations: Manage media relations and public relations strategies to enhance brand reputation and generate positive media coverage. Oversee PR firms.
- Sponsorship Management: Identify and negotiate sponsorship opportunities with relevant organizations, events, and influencers to increase brand exposure and strengthen community ties.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies that maximize ROI. Manage digital ad buys.
- Analytics and Reporting: Utilize data-driven insights to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts and make data-informed decisions for continuous improvement.
- Local & National Partnerships: Forge strategic partnerships with local businesses, spirit companies, charities, influencers, and community organizations to enhance the restaurant's presence within the local market.
- Guest Experience Enhancement: Work with the operations team to improve the overall guest experience, including restaurant ambiance, service quality, and customer journey.
- Customer Segmentation: Implement data-driven segmentation strategies to tailor marketing efforts to specific customer demographics and preferences.
- Online Reputation Management: Monitor online reviews and ratings across platforms like Yelp, Google, and TripAdvisor. Develop strategies to manage and improve online reputation.
- Mobile App and Loyalty Programs: Oversee the development and promotion of a mobile app and loyalty program to enhance customer engagement, retention, and loyalty.
- Email Marketing: Utilize email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp to create and execute email marketing campaigns, analyze open and click-through rates, and segment email lists for targeted outreach.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in marketing leadership roles within the restaurant or hotel industry.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations and customer behavior.
- Hands-on experience with digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, and social media.
- Experience overseeing PR firms, digital ad buys, and social media campaigns.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics and reporting tools.
- Experience leveraging CRM for customer segmentation and personalized marketing campaigns.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to rapidly changing market conditions and consumer behaviors.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously.
- Proficiency in graphic design software, video editing tools, or other creative software is a plus.
Salary & Compensation:
- Salary range $125,000 to $175,000
