Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing techniques, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain various plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Perform construction plumbing tasks such as pipe threading and assembling components.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete plumbing projects.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and ensure proper functioning.
- Weld pipes and fittings as necessary for specific installations or repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
Skills
- Proficient in basic math for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for effective installation and repairs.
- Experience with construction plumbing techniques is highly desirable.
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Capable of maintaining equipment in good working condition.
- Familiarity with pipe threading processes is an asset.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
