This position will be primarily responsible for the coordination and support of health and welfare plans, retirement programs and wellness initiatives. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to assisting employees with benefit inquires, administer health and welfare invoices, and maintain benefit information on company intranet site as needed. This position will also support the coordination of the annual open enrollment process, wellness events, leave administration as well as provide other related support as needed or requested by the benefits team.

Respond to employee benefit inquiries and function as the HR Service Center informational resource for benefits and wellness programs.

Track and complete dependent verifications and in-progress transactions in the benefits administrator system.

Work in conjunction with service providers to resolve employee issues as needed.

Coordinate the communication for employee events, bulletin board notices, and any communications that promote employee benefits education.

Coordinate benefit material mailings such as annual notices and materials related to open enrollment.

Process, track, and maintain all monthly benefit invoices.

Complete/respond to National Medical Support Notices.

Performs other related duties as assigned and assists with projects as needed.

Proven track record for demonstrating effective teamwork a must.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational and planning skills, including demonstrated ability to: problem solve, communicate effectively, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Computer literacy, including all Microsoft Office applications, web-enabled HR information systems and employee self-service applications.

Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.

Strong customer service and client focus with outstanding judgment.

Associates degree or higher with a focus on Human Resources.

One to three years of HR support experience or relevant experience.

General knowledge and understanding of employee benefit plans.
