IT Operations Support/Systems Administrator Lead

Key Role:
Leverage expertise across three technical areas, including as a database administrator, a SharePoint administrator, and an Office 365 administrator. Manage Microsoft Access and SQL Server databases through multiple product life cycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems, manage Always On, Disaster Recovery Environment, Replication, and Azure connectivity. Identify and fix SQL Server performance issues, query optimization, and stored procedure performance improvement, analyze, solve, and correct issues independently in real time, provide problem resolution end-to-end, assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement, perform scheduled maintenance, and support release deployment activities after hours. Support Intranet sites built on SharePoint, deploy custom developed and third-party SharePoint solution packages, configure SharePoint services and settings, and provide SharePoint support to end users. Review and monitor usage reports, manage content databases and create new ones, as required, and administer and maintain sites and sub-sites. Manage security for sites and sub-sites and manage the site layout structure and content. Assist with various implementation projects as they relate to Azure, Intune, and Office 365 deployment, automation, administration, migration, upgrades, and integrations, share domain and technical expertise, provide technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members, and work with various internal and client teams to ensure a seamless transition from legacy environment to new Cloud infrastructure and business-as-usual delivery of products and services

Basic Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of experience with IT operations and support
  • 10+ years of experience with Microsoft, SQL, and Microsoft Access Server administration
  • 5+ years of experience with SharePoint administration
  • 5+ years of experience with building Microsoft Excel, Visual Basic applications, and Microsoft Access queries, forms, and reports, including VBA Coding
  • Experience with database performance tuning practice, disaster recovery best practices, database monitoring best practices, data replication strategies, and export import processes
  • Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO) using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools and working with Windows server, including Active Directory, SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS
  • Knowledge of Power BI and building power applications
  • Ability to organize and plan work independently in a rapidly changing environment
  • BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience with Office 365
  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Ability to be flexible and a team player with a get-it-done personality
  • Possession of excellent analytical skills with information systems
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Microsoft Certifications a plus
