This is a great opportunity for someone who can work independently and as part of a team, focusing on a wide range of HR related topics including training and development, employee relations, performance management, retention and succession planning, compensation, employer of choice initiatives and policy development. Primary responsibilities of the successful candidate are as follows:
> Partner to the business lines and Corporate teams in determining the development and delivery of HR strategies that support business priorities
> Serve as relationship manager between core HR functions, employees and business leaders
> Identify training and development needs for employees and develop professional curriculum; monitor training programs to ensure training objectives are met
> Assist in resolving employee relations issues using strong judgment and discretion; conduct thorough and objective investigations when necessary
> Coach managers on performance management, feedback delivery, employee development and application of PJT’s internal policies and procedures
> Provide input on workforce and succession planning as well as plans for business unit restructuring as needed
> Collaborate closely with HR colleagues to develop policies, programs and solutions and contribute to effective delivery of global processes
> Analyze data trends and metrics to inform business decisions
> Provide support to the global Business Partner team
PJT Partners seeks to hire a dynamic individual who is highly motivated, intelligent and a proven self-starter. The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, a demonstrated ability to write effectively, and a positive attitude. In addition, qualified candidates will possess the following:
> Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent
> At least 2-5 years of prior, relevant experience in a HR Advisor or Business Partner capacity
> Prior e xperience in Employee Relations and fluency with [local jurisdiction] employment legislation is preferred
> Strong verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail
> Strong organizational and time management skills
> Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and process work under pressure while maintaining the highest quality
> Willingness to proactively identify issues and recommend solutions
> Ability to work independently as well as show aptitude to work collaboratively in a team environment
> Strong work ethic and demonstration of a high level of judgment, integrity and professionalism
> Ability to navigate sensitive situations with confidence and finesse
