Experience in customer facing product development.

Understanding of game developer needs to help implement new capabilities.
Ability to break down complex activities to attainable project tasks.
Ability to work across organizations with excellent influencing skills to move things forward and remove roadblocks without authority.

You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it's your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.

Google Play gift cards are an expansive global business and the face of Play at retail. In this role, you will help bring the mobile gaming market to life in global partners and in innovative new digital channels and formats. You’ll be part of a unique team at Google that focuses on delivering a excellent physical and digital products at a global scale, helping to ensure that consumers have an easy and accessible way to pay for in-game items and content.

Our team is looking for a creative and talented professional to drive user focused programs for the Google Play Gift Cards business. As a Gift Cards Program Manager, you will help manage our content promotions platform for gift cards working with retail account and developer teams. As a program manager on the Gift Card team you will develop new initiatives at a global scale and help manage their ongoing success. Additionally, you will ensure great user experiences are maintained as you work to take new capabilities to market. Under your supervision, existing programs will operate more efficiently and continue to be refined to best support our customers.

As part of the Android and Mobile team, Googlers working on Google Play do everything from engineering our backend systems, to shaping the product strategy, to forming great content partnerships. They make it possible for people to do things like buy an ebook or song on their Android phone, then have it instantly available on their laptop. The Google Play team helps strengthen the overall Android ecosystem by giving developers and partners a premium store where they can reach millions of users.

Work across teams to define gift card opportunities, develop requirements and implement at scale for a global team.
Develop, maintain and improve processes and systems required to manage ongoing business operations for the Gift Card’s content promotions platform.
Coordinate across Google teams to ensure activities are completed and teams are able to support new projects and Gift Card initiatives.
Partner with engineering, developer support and other cross-functional teams to build and maintain consumer facing programs for the gift card business.
Advocate for gift card users in partnership with customer support to ensure a continued great experience across our user base.
