The Full Stack Developer will develop NodeJS Microservices and front end Angular applications to support the Big Data Engineering team. They will work to continuously learn, update, and improve our platform and work with the team to support others in their mission to learn and grow.
The qualified candidate will be a member of the Linux Academy Engineering organization and specifically work on the Big Data team to support the data projects being developed.
Develop microservices / REST API’s that access data stored in DynamoDB or MySQL
Build front-end interfaces for the Big Data projects being developed
Analyze and estimate new development tasks
Participate daily on project teams
Work in an Agile / Scrum environment
Must have some Angular 4-6 experience
Very well versed with NodeJS
Proficient with Git
Experience with Bootstrap, Docker, TravisCI preferred
Strong communication skills. Able to work with other engineers, project leads, and coworkers in other departments to coordinate efforts of the team in completing projects and features.
In-house preferred but remote is acceptable. If remote, some travel to main office may be required at times and you must have access to a computer, internet, and phone.
