Job Description:

Empire USA LLC is searching for an experienced Project Manager with direct experience in renovating multi-family assets and podium style ground up development. The ideal candidate will have multiple years of direct exposure to coordinating multi layered renovations of apartment buildings, including direct interaction with contracting teams to arrange estimating, bidding, and scheduling of execution.

Position Summary:

Empire's focus is on hiring versatile, talented, and seasoned real estate professionals. The Project Coordinator position is no exception. The position will play an integral role on our Capital Expenditure team, coordinating a variety of different construction related activities while supporting our Project Managers in their direct oversight of on-site execution. Interacting directly with subcontractors and general contractors, this position will assist in quantifying and delineating scopes of work, assisting with in house estimations of pricing, soliciting multiple subcontractor and GC bids, and managing the paper flow of the entire construction sequence. Utilizing critical analysis, and industry standardized methods and software, the Project Coordinator tracks progress versus anticipated scheduling, manages the billing and lien release process, and assists with close out and punch-list items on each project.


  • A 4 year degree from an accredited school (Business, Real Estate, or construction related concentration preferred) * 3+ years of direct experience in construction as a Project Manager. * 3+ years of direct experience in managing renovation projects on multi-family and/or hotel assets.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project Manager or similar project management software preferred.
  • Versatile background in construction, with ability to rotate attention between multiple projects at varying levels of progress, switching from pre build/planning activates to build phase coordinating easily.
