The Manager, Talent Development will impact talent performance through the effective oversight and implementation of training programs across Red Bull North America (RBNA). S/he will effectively identify and own the integration and/or development of blended learning programs; including trainings, learning activities, on-the-job tools, e-learning and interactive course content, and will oversee all aspects of training events and execution on par with Red Bull’s brand standards. S/he will enhance and oversee all training programs, including project management, content, and training facilitation as well as influence and contribute to Talent Management processes such as performance, engagement, and succession.

TRAINING PROGRAM MANAGEMENT

Adapt and implement global talent programs aligned with business objectives

Flawless execution of NA training suite aligned with business objectives; adapt, scale and sustain RBNA development approach to managing self and others, and employee onboarding

Continually develop business acumen and apply organizational knowledge to address key gaps

Own national Talent training calendar and timelines, coordinate and execute national events

Continuously enhance and optimize scalable and systematized processes

Facilitate programs where relevant and as needed

Manage and optimize systems and training databases

Establish metrics/assessments to measure performance

Evaluate/report on program effectiveness, recommend training or process modifications

TRAINING PROGRAM DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT

Evangelize and support Red Bull’s core talent philosophies

Contribute to talent strategy by partnering with TBPs and leaders to evaluate organization needs; identify, prioritize and build capabilities, behaviors, and processes to impact business objectives

Design and build RBNA specific solutions when necessary and market specific; where needed, partner with global Talent Management to build global programs

Collaborate with diverse SMEs, stakeholders and vendors across geographies on objectives, course content and communication strategy; effectively manage design, scope, and development time

Launch programs, courses, and supporting resources for employees and managers to increase skills and career development opportunities that support performance/career aspirations

Host train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts and other RB entities

Research/make recommendations on development best practices, resources, and (when required) technologies; remain current on new training/development capabilities and competitive practices.

STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT

Serve as primary point of contact for all training needs and collaboration efforts; proactively build, maintain and manage partnerships with internal and external clients

Strong partner to RBNA Talent Business Partner team, providing development specific recommendations based on people strategies

Train, influence and communicate strategy to other RB entities and Talent Development leads

Effectively oversee execution of training logistics through partnership with and project-based management of Talent Development coordinator

Collaboration with HR, senior leadership, leadership teams, functional partners, COEs, and external contractors or consultants
4+ years in Learning & Development or related function

Experience integrating business needs and HR strategies in to training programs

Ability to analyze data, identify trends and recommend solutions to improve employee performance, effectiveness, and satisfaction

Willingness and ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment

Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess need, develop, coordinate, sustain, evaluate) using sound instructional design and adult learning theory

Advanced communication and presentation skills across all levels

Team player who quickly builds trust and collaborative working relationships

Ability to think strategically and synthesize complex business issues; solutions oriented

Track record of cross-functional collaboration

Strong planning, budgetary and project management abilities

Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and HR Information Systems
