We are a progressive, 100% employee-owned company that is recognized as an industry leader in the development, manufacturing, and distribution of premium metalworking lubricants for a wide variety of manufacturing disciplines: Drawing & Stamping, Cutting & Grinding, Tube Bending, Roll Forming, Tube Mills, Cleaners, Rust Inhibitors.

This is a full-time position reporting to our Sales Manager. The ideal candidate must be located in the greater St. Louis, Missouri area and will have sales coverage of the eastern half of the state as well as sections of Illinois south of I-70.

Our most successful salespeople have come from a manufacturing plant environment, engineering, or industrial backgrounds such as Tool & Die Makers, CNC Machinists, Mold Makers, Program Managers, Plant Supervisors and Foreman's to name a few. Having an in-depth knowledge of various manufacturing processes and a technical aptitude for manufacturing environments are required.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support, service and grow existing territory sales
  • Research and gain additional key target accounts
  • Prepare annual territory sales plan to meet established budget
  • Manage and Interpret customer needs and requirements
  • Identify and resolve customer issues or concerns
  • Organize and provide on-site technical training for customers as needed
  • Establish and maintain long-term business relationships
  • Provide application and technical support to existing and key target accounts
  • Work with Product Specialists to determine the proper product recommendations
  • Manage and communicate sales activity through company CRM system
  • Attend trade shows and conferences as needed

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Efficient application of time and territory management
  • Aggressive follow-up and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Professional image and high level of integrity
  • Experience with metalworking fluids a plus
  • Proficient with computers, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • College degree or equivalent work experience in engineering, manufacturing, or industrial
  • Reliable form of transportation
  • May require up to 10-20% overnight travel

Compensation commensurate with experience. Salary plus commission.
