Who we are....

Loop Paper Recycling Inc. has operated a secured recovery facility in the Chicagoland area for 30+ years. There are four facilities throughout the Chicagoland area that specialize in purchasing recyclable commodities that most recyclers can not handle. These include recyclables ranging from commercially generated cardboard, all grades of printer paper, office paper, shrink wrap, plastics, Super Sacs to many other commodities. We are dedicated to providing prompt, quality recycling services. Our goal is for our customers is to reduce their waste stream through recycling.

Job Summary

The office clerk/data entry is responsible for the day to day data entry transactions, office clerical duties such as filing, copying, faxing, and reconciling. Will utilize Microsoft office applications such as excel, outlook and word in addition to fleet software. Other duties assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Entry of daily work orders into fleet system
  • Reconciling work orders vs hours paid
  • Filing, copying, faxing and other clerical duties
  • Maintain excellent communication with various departments
  • Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.

Education:

  • High School diploma
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate level)

Experience:

  • Organizing and prioritizing skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • 1 year of data entry (typing at least 40 wpm) in operations or similar service environment
  • 1 year of office clerk experience
  • Good communications skills
  • Experience in recycling would be helpful but not necessary

Work Environment
Will be exposed to a physical environment, which involves dirt, odors, noise or similar elements most of the workday.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to organize various office systems through adjusting, connecting, lifting, pulling, pushing, bending or folding for the purpose of proper records development and/or management.
  • Ability to use a computer and related devices, such as a keyboard or mouse or other related equipment, throughout the workday while seated at a desk or workstation.
  • Ability to bend, stoop or seat for long periods of time.
