Marketing Manager - Integrated Care Solutions (ICS)
Deerfield, IL (Flexible Work Arrangements Available)
Baxter’s ICS Business Unit seeks a Healthcare Marketing leader who will raise the bar for developing/managing multiple product portfolios/guiding them to growth engines
Manage multiple medical devices within the ICS portfolio, including all aspects of product and marketing management
Collaborate/coordinate with a wide variety of internal/external stakeholders, establishing marketing plans for strategic alignment with business goal/executing tactical implementation/ driving successful YOY growth.
Ownership over peripheral, strategically important products, driving a growth plan to increase market share
Execute day-to-day marketing activities for multiple products/services, creating a strong marketing plan that incorporates market trends, customer needs, internal stakeholder dynamics and insights into strategy and tactical execution.
Marketing is the “hub” the manages our life saving products for successful customer outcomes
Develop short- /longer-term device strategy – e.g. growth tactics for products that represent a smaller component of the overall portfolio
Baxter has multiple marketing leading Continual Renal Replacement Therapy, Hemodynamic Monitoring and Multi Organ Support devices in the US market today. In addition, the Acute Renal division has a robust product pipeline to bring additional innovations to market in the coming 2-5 years.
These products need to be launched and nurtured through growth periods to achieve longer term success.
Manage communication with US sales team/internal stakeholders, providing leadership/ direction at all times.
Managing through ambiguity /simplifying the complex to communicate strategy and long-range planning is a critical skill.
Measures/reports performance of all Marketing programs against both /operational goals (ROI and KPIs)
Through Marketing, Sales, Service and QA metrics – delivering a dashboard showing successes/challenges/outlook.
Identifies trends/insights; collaborating with internal stakeholders based on those key insights.
Managing allocated marketing budget is a key metric for professional development to align with strategic and tactical objectives
Identifying areas of improvement opportunity showing strategic planning
Develops new/creative business growth strategies through marketing efforts.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop messaging/collateral delivery for both customers and Sales team
Collaborates with internal teams to create anchoring content/optimize user experience. Utilizes strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels/ customer touch points.
Identifies critical conversion annual funnel targets; partners with Sales team to successfully support opportunity conversion.
Key wins drive funnel success and revenue recognition – collaborating closely with commercial partners is key to converting those accounts to meet revenue targets.
Regularly connects with Global Marketing, Service and Supply Chain teams to provide key user feedback
Demonstrated results in building/fostering/managing strong relationships with internal/stakeholders, e.g. Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Services, etc.
Prior clinical experience to understand therapy delivery in the ICU and/or OR preferred
Strong results orientation and analytical skills and creating/maintaining customer relationships
Excellent project management skills, particularly in scheduling and communications
Working knowledge of Medical Device regulatory requirements, assuring compliance to guidelines; the healthcare landscape and QA requirements for medical devices
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree required; Master’s Degree preferred
5+ years’ Healthcare-based Marketing and/or project management experience
Experience within the Healthcare/med device industry with working knowledge of electromechanical medical devices is required
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding internal stakeholder needs and requirements
Strong analytical/communications skills in Excel and PowerPoint
Internal Org Communication skills a plus
Solid knowledge of Acute Care hospital stakeholders preferred
