Job purpose
This position will lead in on-site supervision at one of our 7 locations across Southern California. While present at the center, this role will supervise clinical training and core value implementation. Our BCBC will guide clinical oversight at the center, supervise, train, and mentor behavior consultants and therapists. We are looking for someone with exceptional leadership skills and experience who loves to mentor and train up and coming clinicians.
Duties and responsibilities

Provide strong leadership and guidance at the center, serving as a mentor and role model for the Behavior Consultants (BCs) and fostering a positive team culture.

Collaborate with Behavior Consultants to oversee and ensure effective implementation of treatment plans and provide comprehensive case management.

Provide BCBA supervision to supervisees working towards BCBA certification, offering guidance and support in their professional development.

Oversee BCs in the Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) process, including data review and goal writing, to inform individualized treatment plans.

Develop individualized treatment plans that prioritize naturalistic Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to address each individual's unique needs.

Lead, manage, and hold behavior consultants and therapists accountable, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth.

Mentor and support the development of behavior consultants and therapists, facilitating their effective implementation of ABA strategies.

Provide in-person support at the center, actively driving inclusion, interaction, and independence while cultivating a culture of excellence.

Collaborate with parents and families to seamlessly integrate ABA strategies into their everyday lives.

Develop and maintain a therapeutic alliance with parents, families, and individuals receiving services.

Analyze data, closely monitor client progress, and develop goals for program progression, identifying the next steps in programming.

Review progress reports written by behavior consultants to ensure quality and adherence to established standards.

Provide clinical supervision to behavior consultants by assessing client progress and evaluating therapist performance.

Assist in the development and delivery of training sessions for new hires and ongoing professional development for current staff.

Ensure BCs have created clean up goals for each client.

See something, say something - promote teamwork and cleanliness from all, assisting to hold staff accountable for cleaning up items/areas after their clients.

Assist with cleaning up items/activities throughout the center when present on the floor.
Qualifications

Certified as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in active standing

At least three years of experience in providing Applied Behavior Analysis services to children with autism

Bachelor degree in related field required

Master degree strongly preferred

Complete TB test and livescan clearance
