ASRC Federal Space & Defense, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal Holding Company, is looking for Summer Interns to join our team supporting the NASA Godard Space Flight Center (GSFC) in Greenbelt, MD. Provide software engineering support to various projects at NASA GSFC. Duties will include, but not be limited to, coding, engineering analysis, historical research, assessment, design, data analysis, and test or operations functions under the direction of a Product Design Lead (PDL). The intern must be able to work independently on assignments, but must also be able to work in an integrated product team (IPT) environment. This allows collaboration with others on trade studies, analyses, testing, etc. in order to create innovative and highly functional designs, subsystems and systems.

  • Must be working towards a Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in working in group projects in academia or industry is highly desired.
  • Knowledge of MATLAB, Python, C++, and Java programming is a plus.
  • Proficiency with MS Office including: Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
  • Must be a US citizen with ability to pass a Government background investigation.
