Perform regular and special cleaning of assigned areas using manual tools and power equipment such as buffers, vacuums and auto scrubbers; understand and practice all university safety procedures, particularly as they relate to equipment operation and chemical use; and participate in the university's trash/recycling program.
Minimum Qualifications Experience performing a variety of cleaning tasks; ability to stand for extended periods of time and perform physically demanding job duties; ability to work with industrial-strength chemicals and equipment including buffers, scrubbers and waxers; ability to clean up materials containing bloodborne pathogens; ability to work in high areas; attention to detail; effective time management skills; basic customer service aptitude; positive interpersonal skills and willingness to work cooperatively in a team environment.
