Core Responsibilities: Assumes responsibility for the operational flow of one machine on the line and is capable of assuming responsibility for the operational flow.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)
Will operate one machine throughout the workday. Ensures their machine is operating smoothly and effectively at start-up prior to production as well as throughout the day. Responsible for inspecting and maintaining their machines. The employee will also be in control of daily paperwork, filling it out properly, and making comments on any non-compliance results. Regulates machine flow in the packaging process to ensure a continuous supply of the finished products. Ensures the package meets quality standards. Ensures the product meets Sorrento Lactalis, Inc. Standards. Follows Food Safety Management System guidelines.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.
3-6 months experience in a food production setting is preferred.
Working knowledge of cheese packaging technology
Basic mathematical skills are required (must be able to calculate averages; addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; units of measurement; whole numbers, fractions, and decimals; rate, ratio, percentages.)
