Compliance Investigation Coordinator

Summary: Supports the corporate compliance program and Corporate Compliance leadership by maintaining and updating the compliance logging and HIPAA monitoring software, and by investigating and addressing compliance issues. Assists Corporate Compliance leadership with processing governmental payor audits and OIG exclusions. Performs general and routine office duties and special assignments. Also provides program support by researching, trending statistical information and performing routine analysis for decision-making.

Education: High School Graduate or GED is required. Associates Bachelors degree or other college level program in a related field is desirable.

Certification: Paralegal or coding certification is desirable.

Experience: Experience in providing administrative support is required with experience in healthcare billing coding or legal environment being desirable. Experience drafting documents using word processing software Outlook Calendar and electronic mail systems is required. Additional experience using Excel Access and other computer programs is desirable. Knowledge of healthcare compliance issues revenue cycle procedures or Medicare is desirable. Must have solid verbal and written communication skills. Must have strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment. Must be detail oriented. Must be able to type 45 WPM.
